Our Story
Most students who struggle in Maths are not weak students. They just fell behind somewhere — one topic, one bad week — and nobody went back to fix it. The class moved on anyway. That gap grew, quietly, every year after.
We saw this up close, in this same city. We also saw the opposite — students who had fallen years behind rebuilding their Maths from scratch, in one summer, and finishing by building real things and showing them to their own families, with pride.
That's the whole reason Onko Academy exists.

Arnab Barua is a visionary educator with over a decade of experience in data strategy and social impact consulting in health, education and livelihood. He founded Onko Academy to rebuild the way we teach mathematics, ensuring every child masters the subject with confidence and genuine understanding.
The Other Half of Onko
Valentina brings a deep expertise in child wellbeing and emotional safety. She is dedicated to creating an environment where students feel safe to ask questions and make mistakes, ensuring that every session is as emotionally supportive as it is academically rigorous.
